Meet Our Advisory Committee

Andrew Kwok is a current student at Harvard Medical School, doing a Masters in Media, Medicine, and Health. He is a former medical student and is passionate about bringing more art into medical education. He is the ACG Fellow at Albany Center Gallery and plans to start a Humanities in Medicine Department at his former medical school.

As part of an independent study course with the Visual Arts in Healthcare Program at BWH, Andrew sat down with 3 people from the Advisory Committee of the Visual Arts in Healthcare Program to learn more about their involvement with the program and discuss the future of art and medicine.

The Visual Arts Committee, led by Jane Mayer, is a 16 member committee that includes artists, educators, healthcare providers, and philanthropists who meets regularly to guide planning and strategy for the Visual Arts in Healthcare Program @ BWH. They are strong advocates and supporters of this work. We are grateful for their dedication and delighted to highlight 3 members of the committee - Dr. Fred Tsai, Silvina Mizrahi, and Dr. Beth Balliro. Learn about all our committee members here.
